The Ghosting Company’s Lead Writer, Ashley Stokes has twenty-five years’ experience in the world of books to bring to any project. He is the author of Gigantic (Unsung Stories, 2021), two other books, and over 70 short stories across several genres. He has a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, and has taught creative writing at UEA, the Open University, Norwich University College of the Arts and the Unthank School of Writing (literary fiction, popular fiction, short fiction, the novel, lifewriting, screenwriting and writing the visual).
As an editor for The Literary Consultancy, he critiqued over a thousand manuscripts, fiction and non-fiction, working with every type of text imaginable. Co-founder of the small press Unthank Books, he was editor of the critically acclaimed Unthology series. He’s also been a copywriter for a branding and advertising agency and senior writer for a ghostwriting agency. Interested in everything.
